A Past-Life Girl Beneath a Straight Man’s Exterior

Feng Xusheng is a handsome new hire standing 185 cm tall, but he suffers from a strange case of social anxiety: he jerks away when a woman touches his hand and clutches his chest whenever he hears someone say “date.” No one knows that his soul is home to Feng Xiaoyu, a hardworking office woman from his past life. Her memories of being pressured to marry, preserved in full, have left him with a physical aversion to women making the first move. On his first day at work, he calls the receptionist “Auntie”; when a woman at a mixer asks for his social media, he pulls out his employee badge; his shopping cart fills itself with women's products; and the printer spits out selfies from his past life... Feng Xusheng's everyday work life is thrown into chaos by Feng Xiaoyu's “ghostly pranks.”

Then he meets Li Wei, a woman who isn't swayed by his good looks and even teases him for “avoiding women like they're the leaders of a square-dancing troupe.” Somehow, she makes him feel for the first time that “getting close to a woman” might not be so scary. Between the hilarious mishaps caused by memories of his past life (he's afraid of pain, knows skincare, and can't help making observations from a woman's perspective) and his slowly warming flirtation with Li Wei, Feng Xusheng gradually realizes that what he rejects isn't “women,” but the rules of intimacy imposed on him in his past life. Where will this mismatched life of a man's body and a woman's soul ultimately lead: reconciliation or growth?
