Wildfire in Summer

Xu Nianyi, the power behind the throne in the entertainment industry, is known as the “Queen of the Sea.” She runs a top-tier entertainment company and has charmed countless men without ever letting one get close. That is, until her best friend and business partner, Qi Qi, has a supposedly “harmless” younger brother, Qi Ye, graduate from college and barge into her territory.

Qi Ye has the innocent face of an angel and a pair of puppy eyes that seem ready to glisten with tears. He calls her “Big Sister” this and “Big Sister” that, clinging to her with sweet, obedient affection. Xu Nianyi takes it upon herself to be his “guardian,” only to find herself gradually cornered by the puppy-like boy and drawn into a territory that belongs to him alone.

Little does she know that his obedience is an act, and his puppy-dog persona is a façade. Qi Ye is a natural at playing the innocent schemer, acting up just to drive away every rival around her. His goal is clear: he doesn’t want to be one of many. He wants to be the Queen of the Sea’s one and only endgame.

“Big Sister, I’m better-looking than them, more obedient than my sister, and I love you more than anyone. How about you only fish for me?”
