The Violent Scholar: My Reason Is Backed by My Fists

Pan Yongqing transmigrated to ancient times and became a frail scholar.

He had hoped to live a peaceful life in the past, but from the start, a bully pinned him against his desk and beat him.

At the critical moment, the violent instincts dormant within him suddenly awakened.

He threw a punch, killing the bully on the spot and splattering blood across The Analects.

From then on, he was forced down the path of fighting violence with violence.

His fellow students at the academy mocked him for being crude, so he dismantled one of their desks with his bare hands.

Corrupt officials preyed on the people, so he snuck into their mansions at night and smashed their heads with inkstones.

People called him the “Ruthless Scholar.” They feared his vast learning, but feared even more how casually he slaughtered his enemies.

Then, one day, he slaughtered the mansion of the Grand Preceptor.

Standing amid a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, Pan Yongqing opened the bloodstained Mencius:

“Benevolence conquers all? What a load of crap! My principles are written in my fists.”
