The Unstoppable Wage Slave

"The Worker You Don't Want to Cross" may refer to several different works. Here are summaries of some of them:

- "Don't Mess with a Worker [Infinite]": On his way home from work, Cen Si, an office worker, chases a madman and gets dragged into an “Dreams Come True” Infinite game. He discovers that the game always begins after work on Fridays. If he doesn't clear it, there are no holidays, meaning he has to work all year round. Later, Cen Si learns that the game was developed by his own company. He works for the company on weekdays and is forced into what amounts to overtime during the holidays. If he doesn't “work overtime,” he'll die. So Cen Si teams up with others and launches a campaign to “bring down the game.”

- "Don't Make the Worker Angry": Xu Qingmian is a low-level copywriter and planner at a studio who can't stand going to work. Her bosses and clients pile on the pressure, and her coworkers annoy her too. Then the Worker’s Blessing System finds her. If she diligently works for three days, she can spend one day as a goddess in the immortal realm. Xu Qingmian later discovers that the immortal realm she returns to is a repeat of her past life. After reborn, the young general Gu Chenming resolves to change the regrets of his previous life: instead of letting Xu Qingmian fall for a scumbag god, he wants her to fall for him.

- "The Little Contractor You Don't Want to Cross": Xiao Zhang's cousin Mugen is also a small-time contractor. When a boss surnamed Yang with powerful connections withholds his pay, Mugen has nowhere to turn for help and eventually hangs himself. Xiao Zhang decides to take over Mugen's construction crew and signs a contract with Boss Yang to build the Third Middle School. After the building is finished, Boss Yang withholds their pay again. Xiao Zhang pulls out a video of the shoddy construction he'd prepared in advance and uses it to threaten him, successfully getting the wages owed to himself and Mugen's crew.
