I Can't Shake My Ex-Husband After the Divorce

Yu Sheng once shone like the sun in Gao Yang’s world. But after his wealthy mother, Yang Yimei, despised her and the second female lead, Cheng Sisi, conspired against her, Yu Sheng was forced to divorce the husband she loved. With her heart in pieces, she moved out of their home and tried to start over with help from her best friend, Li Leyan, and Yun He, her warmhearted business partner at the art gallery. She resolved to forget Gao Yang for good.

But Gao Yang never accepted the divorce. He loved Yu Sheng, and their split was the result of a huge misunderstanding and a plot. Though cold on the outside, he became a lovesick statue, quietly watching over her. When she worked late, he bought the entire building just to keep the lights on for her. When she fell ill with a high fever, he searched the whole city for a special medicine. With clumsy but overbearing stunts, he drove away her admirers and childishly declared her his.

Yang Yimei refused to give up and stepped up her efforts to match Gao Yang with Cheng Sisi. Desperate, Cheng Sisi forged a pregnancy test and came to force her way into the family. Just as Yang Yimei was celebrating and public opinion erupted, Gao Yang threw out devastating evidence in front of everyone: a vasectomy report from years ago. The date was right after Yu Sheng had pouted and said, “I’m scared it’ll hurt!” He said coldly, “There’s no way the child could be mine.”

The shocking truth blew everything wide open! Yang Yimei fainted, and Cheng Sisi was disgraced. That night, a drunken Gao Yang broke down Yu Sheng’s door, clung to her like a lost child, and sobbed his heart out. “Baby... I lost you... I’m sorry...”

The misunderstanding was cleared up, and the villains were punished. Through unwavering devotion and sacrifice, Gao Yang won back her trust, and the two mended their broken relationship.
