Synopsis

【Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf fan fiction + slight selfcest + main pairing: Xiyangyang + self-redemption + lambs from a wasteland world】An experiment by Big Big Wolf goes wrong, forcing the unruly young Xiyangyang of the early days to merge with Lan, a villain from a wasteland world. Two souls are crammed into one body: one is a “nasty boy” who uses pranks to hide how much he cares, while the other is a “plunderer” burdened by the despair of watching his world collapse. Their minds are constantly at odds, but their actions betray their concern for each other in moments of danger. Xiyangyang instinctively shields his chest when Lan’s energy is depleted, while Lan draws on forbidden power to fight back when Xiyangyang is attacked. Meanwhile, the four who came with Lan, Fen, Tao, He, and Lü, are gradually fading away because of the energy incompatibility between worlds. Transparent cracks are appearing on their skin like a countdown. They were once Lan’s companions, but now they have become the “shackles” binding the two together. Weekly energy anchoring forces Xiyangyang to rein in his sharp edges and cooperate, while Lan, weakened each time he expends energy, catches glimpses of the warmth beneath Xiyangyang’s “nasty” exterior. When their counterparts in a parallel world regard their fusion as a “spacetime error,” and the withered core of the wasteland world and the Dew of Life from the Goat Village become their only hope of salvation, this bickering symbiotic pair finally understands: The so-called “self” has never been a choice between one or the other. You are the despair I never experienced; I am the warm sun you never dared to hope for. In the end, we will become each other’s anchor.
