Crown of Thorns: From Janitor to Qin Corporation Shareholder

On a stormy night, clutching my mother’s cancer treatment bill, I stumbled across surveillance footage of my girlfriend cheating with the director at a hotel.

“Li Wei, is your celebration dinner with Director Zhao over? Please use my project bonus to cover my mother’s surgery.”

That very night, she hired people to smash up my rented apartment, not knowing that I had already made a backup of the evidence.

At the senior management meeting the next day, in front of the entire company, I pressed the button to turn on the projector. “Everyone, enjoy a look at Director Zhao’s ‘leadership skills.’”

In the dead silence, the elderly janitor in the corner slowly took off his mask.

“Young man, that courage of yours is worth 10% of the Qin Group’s shares.”

Climbing out of the mire, I placed the crown of thorns on my own head.
