The Blood Jade Fatekeeper

A Republican-era dressing case, restored on a stormy night, suddenly turns on its owner. Antique collectors begin dying one after another, their throats stuffed with rusty coins and their organs devoured by a shadow in the mirror. As the last surviving heir of the Wu clan, Jiang Li enters the crime scene clutching her family's blood jade. When Detective Captain Shen Yan points his gun at her, the jade suddenly grows scorching hot: "Watch out! The corpse behind you is moving its hand..." A massacre that wiped out her clan thirty years ago resurfaces, and every piece of evidence points to Jiang Li as the killer. Forced to work with the police to solve the case, she never suspects that the refined professor who always comes to her shop for wontons is polishing a bronze coffin engraved with her name. When she becomes prey to the murder weapon, she is also the fate-binding master destined to end the curse.
