Roses and Gunpowder in a Business Dynasty

On the first day back in the country, Fu Chenzhou, heir to the Fu family, finds his childhood sweetheart, who vanished five years ago, at the Lin family home, which is on the brink of bankruptcy. She is no longer the fragile girl in his memories. Now she is a sharp-eyed leader of the Lin family. With the shadow of family infighting looming over them, he shields her and says, "Become Mrs. Fu, and I'll help you rebuild your family business." But she tosses a bid proposal onto the table in front of everyone. "I don't want the title of Mrs. Fu. I want to stand as your equal in the business empire." As they join forces to thwart a hostile takeover, an anonymous email suddenly appears on Fu Chenzhou's computer: "Beware the person beside you in bed." Lin Shuyue smiles coldly and opens the surveillance footage on her phone. It shows Fu Chenzhou's cousin orchestrating the theft of confidential information. When a financial crisis sweeps in, she personally drives the Bai family into a desperate corner. "When you drove my father to his death, did you ever imagine this day would come?" When the smoke clears, the financial headlines announce shocking news: the Fu Group has officially been renamed Chenyue Capital. At the board meeting, the new chairwoman, Lin Shuyue, gently touches the diamond ring on her ring finger. "This empire belongs half to me and half to him."
