The Secret Map of Mountains and Rivers

This is the story of Su Ningshuang, a disciple of Huanhua Palace, who ventures into the martial world alone after her master's death. For three years, she upholds justice and weathers the trials of the martial world. By chance, she encounters Elder Zhang on a mountain path paved with green stone. He is being pursued by bandits from Blackwind Stronghold, and she steps in to help when she sees him in danger. This draws her into a dispute over a map to a treasure from the previous dynasty: the Map of Mountains and Rivers. Blackwind Stronghold will stop at nothing to seize the map, even enlisting the Scale-Clad People, who are said to live in the swamps of the southern frontier. Su Ningshuang faces them with Huanhua Palace's Flowing Cloud Sword Technique. Though gravely wounded, she holds fast to her convictions. At a critical moment, Qin Feng of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion arrives to help her avert disaster. As the story unfolds, Su Ningshuang must not only withstand Blackwind Stronghold's relentless threats, but also uncover the essence of the Flowing Cloud Sword Technique: “using softness to overcome strength, and stillness to control motion.” The secrets behind the Map of Mountains and Rivers and the rivalry among the various factions further complicate this martial-world conflict. Through her interactions with Qin Feng and Elder Zhang, Su Ningshuang grows ever stronger, holding to the justice in her heart and forging her own legend amid the clash of blades.
