The Turmoil of Wangyue Town

The Storms of Wangyue Town tells of the extraordinary adventures of an ordinary young man, Lin Mo. An orphan who makes his living hauling firewood in Wangyue Town, Lin Mo is accidentally drawn into a conflict between the Qingcheng Sect and the Black Wind Cult over the secret manual, the Moonchasing Heart Sutra, left behind a century ago by the peerless master known as the Moonchasing Hermit. To protect the clues to the manual, Qingcheng Sect disciple Ling Yun hides half of a crucial jade pendant in Lin Mo’s load of firewood. The other half was left to Lin Mo by his mother, and the two pieces fit together perfectly, making him the key to unlocking the secrets of the Hidden Scripture Cavern. As the two factions clash fiercely at a ruined temple west of town, Su Ningshuang, an heir to the Western Regions’ Snow Lotus Sect, appears. Carrying a deep blood feud after the Black Wind Cult slaughtered her sect, she joins forces with Ling Yun and Lin Mo to fight their enemies. When the two halves of the jade pendant are joined, the true form of the Moonchasing Heart Sutra appears on the stone wall, completely changing the course of Lin Mo’s life. Once a young man who only wanted a peaceful life, he is forced onto a path of protecting the manual and getting caught up in the martial world’s feuds. Together with Su Ningshuang and the others, he faces the Black Wind Cult’s relentless pursuit, seeking truth and finding growth in a world full of danger.
