The Abyss of Annihilation: Sample Zero

A disastrous deep-sea mission turned Lu Ze into the host of a nonhuman symbiote and its core directive target. As a devastating Titan behemoth and a terrifying abyssal insect hive collide with a thunderous crash ten thousand meters beneath the sea, Lu Ze, gravely wounded and near death, falls like an ant into the hive's darkest heart: the Whitebone Abyss.

Under the impact of the hive's chaotic will, the symbiote's logic teeters on the brink of collapse. The directive to "protect Sample Zero" clashes violently with the fear of its own biological instincts, leaving Lu Ze with nothing but utter silence and pain that cuts to the bone. His blood spreads through the filthy water like a beacon in the night, rousing countless lurking predators.

In this maze of death, built from the bones of ancient behemoths and the rusted remnants of technology, Lu Ze must contend not only with broken ribs, falling body temperature, and dwindling oxygen, but also with the whispers of billions of neural impulses. They seek to drag his consciousness into the abyss of madness and assimilation.

There is no way forward, and pursuers close in behind. The symbiote's final whisper points to the "Depths." To survive, and to uncover the truth hidden behind "Sample Zero" and his own fate, he must use what remains of his will to carve a bloody path through the hunting frenzy of the waking hive.
