The Thirteenth-Tier Sea-Erosion Pact

When the reinforced concrete of a haunted house begins to breathe, humanity's contract for extending its civilization is nothing more than a rental agreement written in flesh and blood.

While filming the "Yunfeng Building, Room 1304 Disappearance Case," investigative journalist Lin Mo captures an eternally unhealing rust stain. Barnacle slime begins seeping from his camera lens, while in the drain of a midnight bathroom, filth mixed with fish scales and human fingernails surges and ebbs with the tides. This haunted house, which has devoured thirteen tenants, hides a contract more suffocating than death: each time another carved pattern spreads across the bronze cauldron inside the concrete, a person's DNA strands are clipped and turned into stitches for the "folds of time and space."
