Love Born of Hate

A rainy day brought them together; a sunny day drove them apart. May I give you jasmine, and may you never leave. What is remembered always will one day be answered. Jiang Yi is brooding and possessive; Shen Yue refuses to believe that even an iceberg can't melt. When she first met him, he was rebellious and defiant. The last time she saw him, they were separated by death. He always listened to her. Even that iceberg would melt, watering his little jasmine. Before leaving on a mission, he asked his friend to take good care of her. But on the night before the mission was completed, there was no way back. “Jiang Yi, please come back. I don't hate you anymore. Come back.” “Xiao Yue, I'm sorry. I'm not coming back.” In the end, he left her, loving her forever. She would hate him forever for deceiving her back then, and love him too. From high school to falling in love, they promised to shine together. The year of the college entrance exams, her best friend died, and she sank into despair. He went to the People's Public Security University, while she went to the Beijing Film Academy. Their little shared apartment had been her only light. After her brother died in the line of duty, Jiang Yi feared he couldn't give her a future, so he staged a romance with an older female student to force her to break up with him. She hated him, but still loved him. Moderate depression dragged her into darkness, and in her senior year she drank pesticide. Only after being rescued did she learn to live with the pain. He infiltrated a drug den and never returned. She made a movie about the war on drugs, living on under the spotlight in his place. The operation ended and the drug network was destroyed, but he was gone forever. His farewell letter and the engagement ring that arrived too late reached her. The theater lights came on, and tears streamed down her face. So you loved me enough to lie with your life, and for the rest of mine, all I can do is carry this love I cannot let go of and finish telling our story.
