The 1970s: Rekindled, Apocalypse Pact

After ten years in the apocalypse, Lin Wanqiu used up her last ounce of strength amid a zombie horde, only to be reborn in 1977 with an apocalypse medal, three months before the global catastrophe. She returns to the Red Star Production Brigade.

A scarlet fissure appears outside the window, and a strange green light glimmers in her neighbor's eyes. The familiar signs of the apocalypse are happening all over again. The contract medal on her wrist grows hot, guiding her to stockpile supplies and awaken her supernatural abilities ahead of time. It also reveals a mysterious connection: 127 kilometers away is Ye Jingfeng, holder of a wolf-head token.

He is the leader of the Black Crow Base, a man feared by all in the later years of the apocalypse. In their previous lives, they were bitter rivals. Now, bound by the contract, he has become the “comrade-in-arms” she can't avoid.
