The Heart’s Verdict Is Ironclad

A sudden fire in Linjiang City swallowed the only glimmer of light in Zhou Ran's life: his mother, Su Mei.

The official conclusion: faulty wiring, a tragic accident. But Zhou Ran knew that beneath the cold ashes lay his mother's silent tears and blood, along with the work of a demon named Lin Qiang. His stepfather, who had branded his childhood with endless fear, was a barbecue shop owner in public and a vicious wolf behind closed doors.

After ten years of enduring in silence, Zhou Ran became the quietest shadow, biding his time at the demon's side. The old fountain pen in his pocket silently recorded hellish screams and plans for murder. It was no mere pen, but a blade aimed at the throat of evil!

At the funeral, a glass of liquor and the calm words, “You'll have to collect the ashes yourself,” sounded the call to war. The funeral home's strange electrical failures and eerie noises were like karma, planted by the demon himself, beginning to turn against him.

When the death sentence notice arrived as expected, Zhou Ran knew the time for reckoning had come. The conviction forged through ten years in hell was as solid as steel, and the silent testimony wrought from ten years of blood and tears would finally thunder through the courtroom!

Watch as the silent son uses himself as bait and plans every move, lighting the fire of justice atop the ashes and reclaiming the dignity trampled into the abyss of despair! Family bonds and redemption, suspense and battles of wits: the truth will never be silenced!
