Twin Beauties of the Mirror: The Misty Rain Tribulation

Amid the hazy rain of Jiangnan, the two Xue sisters stand in their wedding dresses, their tears mingling with blood. In their previous lives, they gave their hearts to the wrong men and were rewarded with the extermination of their entire family and endless humiliation. Reborn at the scene of their betrothals, they smash their marriage contracts in front of a hall full of guests and resolutely flee the “devotion” of the Chancellor’s son and the Vice Minister of Revenue.

When the cold-blooded power broker and the gentle young gentleman awaken memories of their past lives during a flash flood, they finally realize that they themselves once pushed the people they loved most into an abyss. Armed with secrets from the previous dynasty, the Xue sisters stand shoulder to shoulder with their husbands in a desperate fight against a treasonous royal uncle. Behind the clash of blades lie regret and devotion; in the court’s confrontations, truth and lies intertwine. From the despair of betrayal to the stirrings of a heart protected, how will this tangled romance end?
