Reborn as a Baby Godzilla? 1.4 Billion People Feed Me

Jiang Lin, a mecha soldier who died in his previous life in the jaws of a mid-level giant beast, is reborn as a 12-meter-long Godzilla hatchling and bound to the Giant Beast Growth System. By devouring biomass, he can evolve at a rapid pace. In the year 2250, mechas and serum technology are commonplace, but a global giant-beast disaster will strike in three months. To survive the apocalypse, he pretends to be docile and sneaks into a human exhibition hall, growing rapidly on food given to him by 1.4 billion people. Visitors marvel at the “adorable prehistoric beast,” while the organizers promote him as a “man-eating iron beast.” But no one knows that this seemingly harmless giant beast is quietly building up the strength to tear everything apart. When he grows too large for the exhibition hall, he comes clean to humanity: giant beasts are coming. The nation immediately goes on a war footing, gathering supplies to feed him, expanding its forces, and developing weapons. The world is shaken. Some countries prepare for war, others remain skeptical, and still others begin evacuating. One after another, nations unveil their secret technologies and weapons of war. Three months later, swarms of insects descend from the sky, and giant beasts come ashore. Jiang Lin devours his own kind to strengthen himself, witnesses Earth's creatures mutate, and sees one lord-class giant beast after another emerge. After evolving into Mechagodzilla, he can devour metal to reinforce his armor and shrink to three meters tall to attend meetings. Able to communicate in human language, with the memories of his previous life guiding his consciousness, he fights alongside his former comrades. From the East Sea Mosasaur to the Titan at Earth's core, from growing alone to working with humanity, he is both the apocalypse's fangs and the defense line of civilization. Amid the war between giant beasts and humankind, he forges an evolutionary path of his own as Mechagodzilla.
