Hong Kong Crime Saga: From the Start, I Livestream Taking Down a Double Flower Red Pole

After transmigrating into the world of Hong Kong crime dramas, Lin Guoyun binds himself to the Underworld Live-Streaming System. From the start, he’s cornered at a Yau Ma Tei alley entrance by Kwun, the Red Pole of the Yee Luen Triad. “Trying to take my turf? Today I’ll show you who calls the shots in Yau Ma Tei!” As Kwun’s cleaver comes down, Lin Guoyun whips out a military dagger. A million viewers witness the moment live: the once-arrogant Red Pole is hacked down beside a trash can! The footage sets all of Hong Kong ablaze. The police, the triads, and the Independent Commission Against Corruption all set their sights on this ruthless newcomer. Corrupt cops want him silenced, Wo Shing Wo wants to recruit him, and underworld big shots like Chiang Tin-yeung and Thunder Tiger are sharpening their knives. Even the international crime syndicate Lighthouse sends him a death threat. With a cigarette between his lips, Lin Guoyun toys with his bloodied dagger. “The Hong Kong crime-drama underworld? It’s just a backdrop for my streaming career.” He takes down Kwun, burns casinos, exposes the police force’s dark secrets, and fights his way from Yau Ma Tei to Bangkok, from Macau to the Antarctic ice fields. He turns the whole Hong Kong crime-drama world upside down and, along the way, wipes out Lighthouse’s global bases. System alert: “Host has taken down the 99th big shot. The title ‘Underworld Legend’ is now unlocked!” Lin Guoyun looks at Ah Ling and the people behind him whom he must protect, then puts away his dagger. “I’m no hero. I just don’t want anyone else to fight alone in the dark like I did.” This is the story of a street punk who hacks his way into becoming a globally feared “guardian of the underworld order.” Wherever his blade flashes, it marks both the end of evil and the beginning of light.
