The Ice-Cold CEO's Personal Pastry Chef: Wanxing, Don't Run

Lin Wan, a top agricultural student and food blogger, dies suddenly and is reborn as a widow in ancient times. Faced with an empty house and a cute five-year-old boy named Xiao Shitou, she activates a farming System and sets out to make money. She improves crops and masters the culinary arts, going from gathering wild vegetables to building an entire agricultural business. She vows to give herself and her son a better life.

Along the way, she meets a man called A Xiao, who claims to be a down-on-his-luck cook. Not only is the wild vegetable soup he casually makes unbelievably delicious, but he also reveals astonishing martial skills in a crisis. Lin Wan notices that he always drifts closer while she cooks, and when his poison flares up, only her food can ease his pain.

When her nasty sister-in-law shows up to cause trouble and the village bully covets her property, A Xiao quietly but forcefully protects her. When Lin Wan's modern farming techniques amaze the villagers and her cooking under the name “Starlit Supper” draws unwanted attention, a deep, unreadable look flashes in A Xiao's eyes.

Then one day, rumors arrive from the capital that Prince Jing has faked his death. Xiao Shitou points at A Xiao and says in his babyish voice, “Uncle smells like stars, just like the ‘Jin’ in my name!” Only then does Lin Wan realize that the man by her side, who can cook and always comes through in a crisis, is actually the Third Prince, a military commander caught in a succession struggle.

Amid the everyday warmth of meals and chores, the two go from testing each other to fighting side by side. She warms his frozen heart with food, while he uses his power to give her a place to thrive. Together they face-slap their awful foes, build their fortunes, uncover the mystery of the adorable boy's origins, and write a sweet, satisfying tale of an imperial couple finding success through farming in the countryside.
