A Ming Dynasty Spy in Joseon: The Eastern Expedition to Fusang

Chen Shisan, a Ming Dynasty scout, was struck by a stray Japanese pirate arrow during the Imjin War and unexpectedly transmigrated into the body of Yi Yeon, king of Joseon. At the time, Japanese pirates were invading Joseon, and the country was on the brink of ruin. To protect Joseon and repel the invaders, Chen Shisan concealed his identity and used Ming military strategy to form the Tiger-Wolf Army. Working closely with the Ming expeditionary force, he drove back the Japanese pirates time and again.

But this was only the beginning of a turbulent age. With his ingenuity and bravery, Chen Shisan gradually exposed and foiled the schemes of Joseon traitor Shin Rip, successfully stabilizing the situation. Then, determined to press his advantage, he launched an expedition east to Japan to eliminate the pirate threat once and for all. In Japan, he used schemes to sow discord among the daimyo and, with both courage and cunning, defeated the enemy forces one by one, eventually capturing Osaka Castle and unifying Japan.

Chen Shisan won repeated distinction on the battlefield, and in the imperial harem, he also found himself forming secret bonds with many beautiful women. Liu Rushi, Xiao Qiao, Hongfu, and the others each had their own charms. Their talent, martial skill, or tenderness added one bright stroke after another to his legendary life.

See how Chen Shisan wages war far and wide, uses the might of the Ming Dynasty to protect Joseon and unify Japan, and writes his own legend!
