Global Devouring: My Ability Can Take Physical Form

A divine stele descends from the sky, plunging the world into an age of darkness and upheaval. Spiritual qi revival begins, and everyone can awaken an ability. The protagonist awakens an F-rank devouring ability. He'd hoped to lie flat and live out his days in the apocalypse, but is forced to devour his friend's ice ability. The ice ability takes the form of a human girl and stays by his side, refusing to leave.

Only then does he discover that his devouring ability can generate Devouring Points, allowing him not only to evolve his ability rank, but also to store and use other people's abilities. From F-rank to SSS-rank, each promotion lets him store one more ability for his own use, up to a maximum of ten at once.

As the world's strongest fighters slaughter one another in a mad scramble for the divine stele, the protagonist quietly rises to power. The ten ability avatars following him are, astonishingly, the strongest forces alive.

And when he raises a hand and unleashes his Devouring Points, the entire planet falls silent in an instant.
