Shadow Creek Town

When teenage Lin En discovers a mysterious crystal glowing blue deep in the forest, the town's peaceful days are shattered. Disappearances multiply, animals mutate en masse, and strangers arrive one after another. Lin En and her friends gradually uncover the two faces of Mist Creek: it is both the heart of the government's Cold War-era mind-control experiment, Project Dawn, and a gateway to the Shadow Universe. As shadow creatures known as Devourers invade, they must find a balance between an ancient prophecy, a government conspiracy, and their own awakening superpowers, before finally facing an ultimate threat from beyond their dimension.
