A Newborn Caregiver Transmigrates to the Han Dynasty

Ye Lirong is a modern childcare expert with a senior infant-care qualification and years of experience. She specializes in scientific feeding, early childhood development, and emergency care. But an accident in a torrential rainstorm sends her transmigrating to the distant Han Dynasty.

When she first arrives in the Han era, Ye Lirong uses her professional knowledge and modern first-aid techniques to save an aristocratic child who is on the verge of death after choking on milk, making her famous overnight. She incorporates scientific childcare principles into traditional child-rearing practices, reforming the crude infant-care customs of the time and teaching wet nurses proper breastfeeding positions and how to prepare complementary foods. When children suffer from fever-induced convulsions and similar conditions, she draws on both the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and modern nursing to devise safe, effective treatments.

In an era when men are valued above women, Ye Lirong breaks through prejudice with her exceptional skills. She not only becomes a childcare consultant sought after by the imperial family and nobility, but also writes books to spread modern childcare wisdom across the ancient land of Huaxia. She ushers in a new approach to child-rearing in the Han Dynasty and becomes a legendary “master of child-rearing” in the annals of history.
