A Romance in the Northern and Southern Dynasties

Liu Mintao, a gifted modern dance student, mysteriously transmigrates backstage at a traditional dance competition. When she wakes, she finds herself in the war-torn Southern and Northern Dynasties. Her modern outlook and dance skills seem out of place in this turbulent age, yet she captivates everyone who catches a glimpse of her.

While fleeing, she meets Tuoba Yun, the son of a powerful Northern Wei official. This cool and refined young nobleman is deeply drawn to her graceful dancing and free-spirited soul. In him, Liu Mintao finds a rare gentleness and sense of responsibility amid the chaos. But with north and south at odds and political intrigue everywhere, their love is destined to face hardships. Surveillance by Southern Dynasties spies, pressure to enter a political marriage, and the undercurrents of palace struggle all put their love across time to the test.

When war breaks out between north and south once more, Liu Mintao stuns everyone on the battlefield with a dance that blends modern and classical styles, quietly changing the course of events. Can she use her intelligence and talent to find her footing in this shifting age? And how will Tuoba Yun choose between duty to his country and the love he shares with her? A chance transmigration, a love that crosses status and time, quietly blossoms amid bloodshed and turmoil.
