Love Lost Its Way, and There Is No Turning Back

On the thirtieth day of the cold war between my wife and me, she said we should take a trip to patch things up. But as soon as we landed, she snapped my ID card in half, smashed my phone, and abandoned me on a deserted island to fend for myself.

When someone asked if she'd gone too far, she stroked her belly and sneered:

"It's his own fault for being so petty. I just wanted to have a baby through IVF and give Muchuan an heir, and he started shouting about divorce."

"The baby will be born in eight months. There's fresh water and food on the island, so he won't starve. He just needs to suffer a little."

Eight months later, holding her newborn son, my wife was so pleased that she finally asked her assistant:

"It's been so long. Has he still not begged to come home?"

She didn't know that I died on my very first day on the island.
