Legend of the Celestial Fox

She was born in the primeval wilderness, once just a naive little fox deep in the Great Desolate. Yet she witnessed the earth-shaking war between the Yan and Huang tribes and Chiyou, and saw the age of conflict between humans and demons come to an end. At the end of the Shang dynasty, she served the last Human Emperor, Di Xin, and experienced firsthand the brutality of the Investiture of the Gods and the establishment of Heaven’s order. She traveled between the human world and the Mountains and Seas, putting down monster rebellions and preserving the balance between the two realms. Thousands of years passed, and the world changed beyond recognition. She journeyed from the ancient wilderness to the height of human civilization, witnessing dynasties rise and fall and civilizations flourish and decline, from the age of shamans and sacrificial rites to the modern world’s steel torrent. She moved through the long river of history under many identities: priestess, swordswoman, recluse, scholar. Yet she remained forever alone, for she knew too many truths buried by time. At last, she cut through every thread of causality with her sword, severed the Jianmu, and set foot in the Myriad Worlds. What she witnessed was not merely the history of humanity, but the rise, decline, and cycles of the entire human race. This is the eternal journey of a fox demon, and an epic spanning the ages. (This is an alternate-history fantasy story, not a history book. The characters’ paths differ from those in real history, so please don’t flame me. This is fantasy!!!)
