Siheyuan: I Beat the Yard's Troublemakers from the Start, I'm the Real Boss

[Survival Rules for a Siheyuan in the 1960s: 1. Keep your mystic arts under wraps. 2. Don’t let Yu Meng go hungry. 3. Watch out for the little brats who trade ration coupons for candy.] Demobilized soldier Wu Kai transmigrates after feeling the bullet hole in his martyr’s certificate, with a seven-year-old girl in his arms, entrusted to him by a dying comrade. When Zi Wei astrology meets the ration-book era of the siheyuan, and a tough soldier faces off against the neighborhood aunties in their coal-briquette wars, he shoulders his radishes and cabbages and swears to give the orphan of a martyr the most respectable life a little girl in the capital could have! [Transmigration + military life + daily child-rearing + strange tales of a bygone era] See how this tough dad uses his mystic skills to navigate the era of planned economics through a rift in time and space that even a Grade 8 fitter can’t fix. Modern thinking + ruthless methods: the tough guy in the siheyuan specializes in dealing with ungrateful freeloaders. When the whole courtyard begs for Silly Zhu to come back and deliver lunch boxes, he kicks open the cellar door. The real dirt-digging is only just beginning. We’ll see who’s laughing and who’s crying!
