Siheyuan: The Whole Capital Is Begging Me to Be Their Procurement Officer

Xiao Chen wakes up to find he has transmigrated to 1958, into a famous courtyard house in the capital.

He's only sixteen that year, his parents are dead, and he has a younger brother and sister to care for. From the start, he's faced with a housing dispute: the bullies refuse to vacate the room they've occupied.

Luckily, Xiao Chen awakens a System that can connect to a modern convenience store. He later discovers that the store can keep expanding without limit.

That's not all. The starter pack is impressive too, with top-tier skills like curses and Tongbei boxing.

In 1958, as Xiao Chen munches on meat buns from the FamilyMart and drinks coffee, he thinks, “The three years of natural disasters begin in just one year. The convenience store needs to keep expanding! I have to stock up on enough food and supplies for all three years.”

A year later, First Uncle, starving, discovers that Xiao Chen's whole family is eating chicken! They're even having something called oden.

Second Uncle: “I'm lucky if I get a cornmeal bun every day. How come Xiao Chen eats white-flour buns every day? Where does he get them?”

The purchasing department chief says, “Xiao Chen, let me introduce you to someone. My niece.”

Qin Huairu and Qin Jingru take turns knocking on his door...

Later, a senior leader arrives. “Xiao Chen, could you do me a favor and take charge of procurement for the whole capital?”
