After Getting Back the Phoenix Egg That Was Switched, I Became the Golden Phoenix King's Consort

I am a peacock princess, blessed by Heaven with a body suited for bearing children.

To foster friendly relations between our two clans, I was sent to marry into the phoenix clan. My father's adopted daughter went with me as well.

But I married the phoenix crown prince, while she married a general.

We were married on the same day, and both became pregnant around the same time.

On the day I gave birth, I watched the midwife swap our two beast eggs while I was weak, but pretended not to notice.

Two hundred years later, her son became the youngest God of War in the phoenix clan.

On the day I was about to be invested as the crown prince's principal consort, my adopted sister knelt before me and said the midwife had acted with ill intent and switched our eggs, so they should be exchanged back.

I immediately slapped her. Of course I refused.
