After My Protective Scale Was Torn Away, I Became the Divine Beast Golden Dragon's Emissary

I married the Dragon Clan’s greatest warrior, and we were together for five hundred years.

Then my husband tore off my dragon scales, just to make a cold-weather suit of armor for his concubine-born younger sister.

After that, he took her to visit the human world. They didn’t return until fifty years later.

When his maid asked about me, he said, “They’re only a few dragon scales. She’s the Heaven-Mandated Dragon Maiden, so why is she pretending to be frail?”

Later, he went so far as to tear out the protective dragon scale over my heart, leaving me to die.

Yet he said, “As the Heaven-Mandated Dragon Maiden, how could she die just because she lost a few scales? Tell her to stop pretending.”

He didn’t know that I was truly dead.

The adoptive daughter I had cherished above all else even made me test medicines, hoping to develop an antidote for the cold poison.

As I breathed my last, she smiled and carried the antidote off to find my husband’s concubine-born younger sister.

After my protective heart scale was torn out, my hidden bloodline awakened, and I became the Divine Golden Dragon Envoy.

Now the former greatest warrior of the Dragon Clan was kneeling for days outside the Divine Golden Dragon Envoy’s cave abode, begging his former wife to forgive him.

As for his adoptive daughter, she had taken the lives of countless clan members, all to develop a remedy that would please the adoptive mother who had returned from the dead.
