After I Volunteered to Enter the Poison Den, the Demon Clan's Young Lord Went Mad

I am the fiancée of the young lord of the demon clan, yet now I stand at the entrance to the Council of Elders. "Jiu'er, have you thought this through? If you become the demon clan's Holy Maiden, you must devote yourself to the poison and may never marry."

"The young lord cherishes you dearly. Would he really be willing to let you do this? He probably doesn't even know about it, does he?"

I lowered my gaze to the ground, then gestured for the elder to look at the demon clan's sacred treasure, the seven-colored centipede, which was barely clinging to life.

I knelt before the elder. "In seven days, I will enter the poison cave and become the Holy Maiden."

The elder helped me up. As I turned to leave, his expression shifted.

"Have you lost your love thread?"

As everyone knows, demon clan women alone possess love threads. Once a love thread is destroyed or lost, they can never fall in love again.

This is a necessary condition for becoming the demon clan's Holy Maiden.

Once I enter the poison cave, Jiang Yingliang and I will have nothing more to do with each other.
