A Journey to the Xia Dynasty

I never imagined that an accidental archaeological dig would take me to the Xia Dynasty, four thousand years ago. When I woke from my coma, I discovered that I had become Qi, the legendary figure about to found China's first hereditary dynasty. The face in the mirror was young and unfamiliar. I wore a hemp robe, with a vermilion sash around my waist that marked my noble status. I heard the gentle footsteps of maids nearby and felt the touch of a bronze vessel filled with clear water in my hands. It all felt so real.

My father Yu's footsteps sounded from outside the hall, and I hurried to straighten my clothes. The hero who had tamed the floods was still a towering figure, but the years had carved deep wrinkles into his face. He ordered me to inspect the river embankments with him tomorrow. I knew this would be a moment that changed history. Standing alone before the hall in the night, I gazed up at the stars and took in the breath of this most ancient land of Huaxia.

Tomorrow, I will begin the journey that changes history and shoulder the task of founding the Xia Dynasty. This is more than just transmigration; it is a contest against fate. On this ancient land, I will witness the birth of civilization and take part in writing history. Every move I make will affect the fate of Huaxia for thousands of years to come.
