Identity V: I'm Everyone's Favorite

When Xie Wanqing first stepped into the mist of Oletus Manor, the creak of the wooden floorboards marked her introduction to this absurd game. As a new Survivor, all she wanted was to stay alive. She never expected the Hunters' blades to hesitate whenever they faced her, her teammates to become inexplicably protective, or even those who were usually aloof to keep their eyes fixed on her. She became the manor's most special presence, wrapped in the care of everyone around her. Like a breeze, she gently swept across the manor's gloom, making even those accustomed to conflict and suspicion want to hold on to that touch of warmth. But no one knew that whenever she awoke from a midnight dream, she always saw another figure: in a rainy alley during the Republic of China era, a woman in a blue qipao clutched a message, her fingers pale from gripping it so tightly. Xie Wanqing thought it was only a dream. But when the ticking of the cipher machine collided with fragments of memories from her past life, she finally understood: perhaps she hadn't come here just to survive, but to find the self she had lost, Lin Junyao, and the story she had left unfinished. The special attention she received from certain people seemed to be about more than just affection... "You look so much like her." "Is this reincarnation, or... is someone deliberately recreating her?" Was the sacrifice in her past life the end, or a clue to the game she'd entered in this one? • Female-oriented reverse-harem romance, with Xie Wanqing as a universally adored heroine. Multiple characters in the manor develop feelings for her. • Main appeal: A dual timeline spanning past and present, intertwining the story of Lin Junyao, a revolutionary from the Republic of China era, with the manor's mysteries in the present day. Suspense at every turn. • Content warning: Some canon male pairings are broken up. Read with caution if that bothers you.
