After We Broke Up, She Found My Videotape

I broke up with my girlfriend during the poorest year of her life.

A year later, she had made it big and married a movie star younger and more handsome than me.

On a variety show, the host asked her whether she had any regrets, having won every major award at such a young age.

Leaning against Qin Ze, she said,

“I want to know how he’s doing after we broke up.”

The host paused.

“He’s… not doing well.”

Lin Yanran finally smiled.

“Then I’m relieved.”

“But Mr. Lu left behind a box of videotapes before he died.”

Lin Yanran’s smile froze.

The tapes showed every day of my life, from the moment I left her to the day I died of illness.
