The Great Ming’s Great Rebel

Zhao Fei, a petty thug from the 21st century, transmigrates, and becomes the emperor's only son, the crown prince of the realm. It should have been cause for celebration, but the miserable truth is, he is actually the son of a bandit chieftain. And worse still, his father, a Daoist priest named Duan Chang who changed his name to “Zhao Wanxing,” has established the “Great Shun Pacification” regime at a temple in Bazhou, Hebei. He later “moves the capital” to the area around Yunfeng Mountain and Long Mountain in Dengzhou, Shandong. With money obtained through deception, he not only raises a bandit army of 2,000 men, but even defeats and captures the entire family of Qi Jingtong, the deputy commander of Dengzhou. After his victory, he appoints his trusted adviser Pan Yidao, a failed scholar, as chancellor, and his eldest disciple Sun Jue as general. He lays down rules stipulating that on the third, sixth, and ninth days of every month, he will receive his ministers' homage in a thatched hall in the mountains, formally challenging the Zhengde-era Ming Dynasty for control of the realm. And his stepmother is none other than Wang Mantang, the Laundry Queen, hailed as the most beautiful woman in Bazhou! It is now the eighth month of the fifteenth year of Zhengde. The Ming Wuzong Emperor, Zhu Houzhao, has just returned to the capital after traveling through Jiangnan, having unexpectedly fallen into the water and fallen ill along the way. When Emperor Zhu Houzhao returns to the capital and passes through Bazhou, he hears that the father and son have openly rebelled, and that his stepmother, Wang Mantang, is one of the most stunning beauties in the realm. He immediately orders the Shandong commander-in-chief to lead 10,000 troops against the “Great Shun Pacification” regime. His father, the Great Shun Emperor Zhao Wanxing, is killed in battle. And Zhao Fei, the petty thug from the 21st century, has just transmigrated and become the thirteen-year-old crown prince of the Great Shun Dynasty, its de facto leader, and a man the Ming Dynasty is determined to kill. And so our story begins...
