After My Adopted Brother Stole My Chosen One Identity, the Nation Fell

I was born to fulfill Heaven's Mandate, but my adopted younger brother stole my identity. He can predict the future with uncanny accuracy, and even learn what others are thinking in advance. Everyone believes that he is the one truly destined by Heaven! My adopted brother predicted that my hands were ill-omened and would attract a strange bird. Enraged commoners crippled me in the street. He predicted that my double pupils would bring down Heaven's wrath, and my own sister gouged out my eyes with her hands. He predicted that my beauty would bring calamity to the nation, and the Grand Princess, my childhood sweetheart, heartlessly had my bones carved out. After I died from having my bones carved out, on the first day, the earth shook and torrential rain poured down, killing countless people on the spot. On the second day, locusts swept across the land and plague ran rampant, leaving the rich and powerful homeless. On the third day, corpses littered the land for miles, warlords carved up the country, and the Great Sheng dynasty began to decline. Only then did everyone realize that the one truly destined by Heaven was dead, and that they were doomed!
