After My Adopted Brother Stole My Fated One's Identity, the Nation Fell

I was the one chosen by fate, but my adoptive younger brother stole my identity. He could predict the future with perfect accuracy and even know what others were thinking. Everyone believed he was the one truly chosen by fate! He predicted that my hands were cursed and would attract a feng bird, so an enraged crowd crippled my hands and feet in the street. He predicted that my double pupils would bring down divine punishment, so my own sister, born of the same mother, gouged out my eyes. He predicted that my beautiful bones would bring ruin to the kingdom, so the Grand Princess, my childhood sweetheart, cruelly had them stripped from my body. After I died from having my bones removed, on the first day the earth shook and torrential rain poured down, killing countless people on the spot. On the second day, locusts swept across the land and plague ran rampant, leaving the powerful and wealthy homeless. On the third day, corpses lay for miles, warlords carved up the land, and the Great Sheng Dynasty began to fall into decline. Only then did everyone realize that the one truly chosen by fate was dead, and they were doomed!
