So That's What the Wei and Jin Dynasties Were Like

Every Chinese person should understand their country's history! Every Chinese person should be proud to be Chinese! The respect a people earns from other peoples around the world depends, to a certain extent, on the overall level of cultural cultivation of that people. Expanding everyone's knowledge, especially understanding and learning about one's own people's history, is especially important.

History of China is the most comprehensive history of China's successive dynasties ever written. Each volume examines its period of history from 50 different angles, using 50 thematic essays to explain historical knowledge in depth. It restores history to its original form and incorporates the findings of current research in history, archaeology, anthropology, and sociology. Blending narrative with commentary, it recounts history from ancient times to 1936, before the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan. Each volume includes a detailed chronology of its period in an appendix, making this an encyclopedic, accessible history book packed with information.

History of China is a fine work on Chinese history, an "encyclopedia of Chinese history that all Chinese people can understand." It is a book to collect at home, give to friends and relatives, enjoy reading as a student, and pass down to future generations.
