A Sea of Sixty Years

Twelve years ago, three childhood friends, two boys and a girl, went their separate ways because of the harsh realities of life. Twelve years later, as if drawn together by an unspoken bond, they returned to the island. But beneath the joy of their reunion, each faced a different struggle: Zhen Zhen was fighting to survive years of domestic abuse at the hands of her controlling adoptive mother; Yun Duo had developed post-traumatic stress after being injured in training; and Cao Chen, a hugely popular young star, was mocked by the public for having no acting skills. As they worked to overcome their troubles, the three weathered every obstacle, discovered new versions of themselves, and helped their hometown avert a crisis.
