Siheyuan: Everyone in the Courtyard Is Stunned After Taking My Advice

Li Xiaohu unexpectedly arrived in the Siheyuan in 1952 and awakened a mysterious ability to take advice. Whenever he follows someone's suggestion, he gets an unexpected reward. And if someone gives him advice with malicious intent, his reward is even more astonishing. Third Grandpa: “I just suggested he go up the mountain and gather some herbs. Who knew he'd find rare medicinal herbs and sell them for a fortune? His luck is incredible.” Second Grandpa: “I was teasing him when I said the old furniture might have something valuable in it. Then he dug up an antique painting worth a fortune. Li Xiaohu is rich now.” First Grandpa: “I just reminded him to watch his step because the road was slippery in the rain. Instead, he ended up saving an old man who'd fallen. Who knew that man was so influential? Li Xiaohu's had powerful backing ever since.” Silly Zhu: “I told him to exercise regularly to stay healthy, and he actually listened. Now he's not only in great shape, he's also the best martial artist in our courtyard. I can't beat him even with both hands.” Xu Damao: “I joked that the girl next door, Xiaohua, was a catch and told Li Xiaohu to pursue her. I never thought he'd really marry her.” Jia Dongxu wailed: “Xu Damao, what kind of lousy advice is that?!” All the neighbors: “Good heavens! We meant to play a trick on Li Xiaohu. How did we end up helping him instead? That's so unfair!” Sweet Xiaohua: “Brother Xiaohu, you're so capable. I want to be with you forever.”
