General History of China--Series of Historical Works by Lu Simian

Lu Simian, a famous historian. His "General History of China" (formerly known as "Fuxing Senior High School Textbook: History of the Country") is divided into six parts, starting from the introduction, ancient history, medieval history, modern history, modern history to the conclusion, and comprehensively sorting out the history of China from ancient times to the 1930s. The first and second volumes were published in February and August 1934 respectively. It was the best-selling general history textbook of China at that time. It was printed nearly 200 times, and later revised editions were released. Compared with the first edition, the fifth volume of the revised edition, "Modern History," contains six more chapters on the all-out war of resistance, founding of the country, wartime diplomacy, and international cooperation. Currently, most of the popular books on the market are first editions. This edition will revise and supplement the six chapters for the benefit of readers.
