Cardfall

【All-new card battles + fantasy + beast taming + school life + adventure + slow-paced + ensemble cast】 In a land much like Earth, humanity struggles to survive. Human blood and corpses are everywhere, and an air of grief hangs over everything. Just as people give up resisting and resign themselves to their fate, a miracle is born: some people gain cards, and use their abilities to survive in the cracks. Heroes emerge in different places and at different times, honing their cards to perfection and leading humanity to carve out territories where they can live. They are known as Card Masters, ordinary people both blessed and envied by the heavens. They protect humanity's lands and fight its enemies, plunging themselves into the abyss known as death. Peace as fragile as a bubble. A future with no known ending. All they can rely on is themselves and their cards.
