Divine Cards Descend: My Inspiration Comes from Anime

Looking back, I have to ask: What was I even writing? One more addition to my embarrassing past 😂

When the multiverse girl Nan Xing was sick and so uncomfortable she couldn't sleep, she took a sleeping pill. When she woke up, she found herself in another world: the interstellar world.

The good news: Another version of herself summoned her here, and all she has to do is live well. What's more, a competition called Divine Card Descent is all the rage across the stars. Anyone with sufficient mental strength can enter or make cards, and her mental strength meets the requirements.

The bad news: This world has no anime.

Fortunately, she can put these characters onto cards. Determined to introduce the stars of her favorite characters to the people of this world, Nan Xing enters the competition.

And so Divine Card Descent gains a special contestant and card maker.

[I'd lost inspiration halfway through, and with all kinds of things going on at the time, I rushed to the ending. I never got to write many of the cards I had planned, and I never applied to have this novel recommended. I didn't expect so many people to read it. Seeing the comments reminded me to update the synopsis.]
