Synopsis

Wu Ming was an ordinary person. He had thought he would spend an unremarkable, dreary life like countless other wage-earners, but then a mysterious pony named Night Star suddenly appeared, bringing new possibilities to his stagnant life. When a devil more evil than every villain before him descends upon Equestria with the power of calamity, and an army from a wasteland world draws ever closer, how long can the ponies' peaceful lives last? Should they rise up and fight back, or put their faith in their enemies' mercy? Follow Wu Ming and Night Star as they search for traces of the past in this uncertain world, seek the light of friendship and harmony, and bring salvation to two worlds. Warning! This may be, or may not be, the Equestria you imagine! (PS: This is a sequel, but you don't need to have read the previous book. No romantic pairings, but there will be interactions. It will include a lot of the author's personal touches, making things somewhat dark for the ponies. Friendship is at its heart, but the presentation will be more realistic. The story will focus on a brand-new plot and won't follow the Mane Six throughout. The original plot has been altered to varying degrees. Updates may not be as steady as in the previous book.)
