Ascending to Immortality in the Apocalypse

(A zombie story. Zombies become less central later on. There is a female lead, no harem, and the protagonist is nearly invincible. Mythological elements appear later.) Please stop complaining that a zombie story has a female lead. Plans can’t keep up with changes, and there are issues with the setup. I welcome criticism, but please go easy on me. The apocalypse arrives, a zombie crisis erupts, and the uncanny appear. This is an act of self-preservation by someone who cannot bear to look. It is the hope of someone on the brink of death, and the biggest variable in the game. Will the player be able to plan everything in advance, or can a piece escape the board? Or perhaps this so-called board is itself a deception.
