The story of three couples from families in different professions, Fang Yuan, Jin Lu, and You Xiaozhu, Ding Mu and their husbands, Li Cheng and Liu Feng, as they and their children navigate life in the city. Their children all attend the same class. Fang Yuan is a homemaker, Jin Lu runs an art exhibition venue, You Xiaozhu is a lawyer, and Ding Mu is a single mother.
