Ingenious Inventions of Ancient China

A very good book, the name is easy to confuse but the story is very interesting

The content of this book is selected from ancient classics such as "Mengxi Bi Tantan", "Compendium of Materia Medica", "Antique Trivia", and "Splendid Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers". It tells about some life skills of people in ancient times. After reading it, I only think of one word, elegant. Maybe there is a lot of time, they can concentrate on enjoying life and make their days more refined. At the same time, I also admire their wisdom. They use lotus pods to wash the inkstone, use charcoal fire to drive away moisture, and use chicken feathers to test for poison. This book is very much like the ancient version of "1000 Details of Life You Should Know". You can read it when you are bored, it is very interesting.

It has a wide range of knowledge, covering all aspects of life, and is very practical. It is really a good book.

Recommend. But you need some patience to read it, and you need to have a certain interest in ancient empirical science. Otherwise, you may find this book boring. After all, it is far from today's social life. This book should not be read as an empirical encyclopedia, but should be read as a history book. Just have fun seeing how ancient people dealt with problems in life at that time. Of course, there are also some legends about gods and ghosts, unofficial folk remedies, etc. Readers need to have a certain ability to think independently. Some may still have some reference value today, but some are purely feudal dross and cannot be trusted. But it's quite interesting to read as a short story.

It's very beautiful, it has everything in it, some of it is funny and some of it is nonsensical, haha

There are 1,000 Hamlets among 1,000 people. Do you know why there are six chapters but not seven?

In my spare time, I like to watch handmade videos. They recreate them step by step based on the records in ancient books. I discovered this book accidentally. The catalog mentioned "taming animals and fighting birds", "dying bandits and washing inkstones", and "lighting lamps to take shelter from the wind". When I heard the name, I felt that the word "elegance" was written vividly in ancient life. Not only the lifestyle, many of the techniques passed down now carry the wisdom of the ancients. Their attitude towards enjoying the slow pace of life is worth pursuing, and it also requires us, who are impetuous, to calm down and adjust.

I read this book when I was a child. I used it as a storybook. It was a very interesting book.

The content does not need to be verified, but you can get a glimpse of the wisdom of the ancients.

If you don't open this book, you won't know that the ancients were so wise. From this book, we can learn about ancient China's technological achievements and innovative spirit in various fields. This book demonstrates the wisdom and talent of the ancient Chinese people in science, technology, and craftsmanship, while also providing readers with a deeper understanding of ancient Chinese culture and history. For readers interested in ancient Chinese culture and technological development, this book will provide a wealth of knowledge and interesting stories.
