Petri Dish No. 47: God Does Not Exist

Cultivation Vessel No. 47 is functioning well. Civilization has advanced to the Steam Age. Everything is normal.

Until one day, my creations used mathematics to prove something:

God does not exist.

The proof was logically flawless, beyond reproach. I had fired every brick with my own hands, and they used them to build a tombstone pointing at me.

I was about to bring down divine punishment. But a line appeared in my experiment log, in handwriting that wasn't mine:

"Observer, you are being observed too."

The handwriting was exactly like mine.

From beyond the barrier came a knock. Three short, three long, three short.

Preliminary conclusion: It is not a plea for help. It is a calibration.

I decided to enter the cultivation vessel myself. The price was that my divine power would be suppressed, and I could not leave of my own accord unless I repaired the crack in the barrier.

After entering the world, I took the name Xu Heng and infiltrated the religious order. The chief calculator said to me:

"God appeared to me in a dream. God told me to find you. God said: let you choose for yourself. Return, or stay."

I opened the log and found a new line on the last page:

"Open the door."
