Reborn in 1998: Starting by Saving a Factory from Bankruptcy

Chen Yu opened his eyes and found himself back in the winter of 1998. His father hadn't been paid, the family had just eight hundred yuan in savings, and a notice announcing an extended holiday for all employees was posted at the factory gate.

In his previous life, he'd died suddenly at a workbench while testing equipment. This time, before the boom had even taken off, he would use a factory on the verge of bankruptcy as his starting capital and secure China's entire industrial chain, from machine tools to communications and chips, twenty years ahead of schedule.

Everyone thought he was crazy. Only he knew that the internet bubble would burst in eighteen months, and China would join the WTO three years later. Every bout of worldwide frenzy was just the next buying opportunity in his ledger.
